New Neonatal Ambulance for UK Kentucky Children’s Hospital

UK Kentucky Children’s Hospital recently unveiled its new pediatric transport ambulance.

The ambulance can transport two patients and is staffed by nurses specially trained to care for complex neonatal and pediatric ICU patients.

It can carry four people in the cab, and up to four staff and two patients in patient compartment, WTVQ-TV reports. The price tag: $331,575.74.

Funding for the new rig came from the Children’s Miracle Network Kentucky, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Walmart, Sam’s Club and Dairy Queen.
